DEVELOPMENT STATUS · 19 OCTOBER 2026

Morgenhain receives
its final polish.

At this point we were preparing Volume 1 for its Windows launch. The test build showed Lumori's revised in-game form, the reworked ancient oak and further work on paths, conversations and save functions.

The images in this entry were captured from the Windows RC2 test build on 18 October. They document that development stage. The German and English Windows editions described here have since been released.

This section remains as a dated record of the game's development.

New images from the game.

News from Morgenhain · 5 October 2026

The route from the forecourt through the town gate was visually and functionally connected. The fire pit regained its complete ring of stones, the main path to the well was cleared and a camera flight showed birds above the village square.

The central gate path and the main route between the bakery and well were made continuously walkable again. The fire pit once more fitted fully into the square.

Its residents

Lumori, Benny and Hunter accompany the journey. Barney, Cookie and Milo move independently through Morgenhain, while birds and woodland animals bring life to the surroundings.

The stories

The fifty village stories, journal and spoken dialogue continued to be tested and improved. This entry records the state of development on 5 October 2026.
